WORCESTER — The Salisbury Singers will continue its "Virtual Monday" sessions March 15 with a special program, "Dreaming of Song: A Faure Spring Sing."
Everyone is invited to join the Salisbury Singers and sing along from home with a quartet of professional Worcester soloists who will be live from Trinity Lutheran Church from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m. on Monday.
The soloists are Monica Hatch, soprano, Krystal Morin, mezzo-soprano, Christon Carney, tenor, and Cailin Marcel Manson, baritone. Mark Mummert, Cantor of Trinity Lutheran Church, will be the organist. Bradford T. Dumont is the Salisbury Singers music director.
Participants will sing through Faure’s contemplative Requiem over the course of the evening interspersed with opportunities to warm-up together, hear from the soloists, and sing other works like "The Road Home" by Stephen Paulus.
The Salisbury Singers will broadcast the sheet music so people can follow along from home. However, "anyone can participate regardless of whether they have the music. This is also a great opportunity to tune in and just listen!"
This evening is co-presented by Music at Trinity, a ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church.
This event will be live-streaming via YouTube. $10 suggested donation. Visit www.salisburysingers.org.
